Your Mercury Product Protection plan period may be extended through Dickson's Marine. Mercury owners who's current warranty coverage period has not yet expired may extent the factory coverage period out to a total of five years. Parts, Accessories and Labor Reimbursement: Product Protection provides comprehensive component coverage (including labor) for breakdown failures caused by a defect in material or workmanship, similar to the standard limited warranty
Hoist/Haul-Out Allowance: Up to $200 per claim occurrence to perform approved repairs to covered Product on non- trailerable boats (26 feet in length of larger).
On Water Tow-In Allowance: Provides up to $200 per claim occurrence toward the cost of on-water towing charges necessary to perform approved repairs to covered Product.
Mercury Accessory Coverage: In addition, all Quicksilver and Mercury engine related accessories such as steering, remote controls, and instrumentation (except propellers) are covered whether factory or dealer installed.
MerCruiser Engine Repower : MerCruiser engines that are purchased by the owner to repower an existing hull may be eligible for Product Protection coverage. Contact Dickson's Marine for details.
Service Under the Plan: You may obtain factory-authorized service at more than 5,000 dealers in the United States and Canada . You are not restricted to the dealer who sold you the plan.
Genuine Factory Replacement Parts: 100% Quicksilver and Mercury Precision Parts replacement parts. No "will fit" substitutes. Transferability: The remaining plan term is fully transferable to subsequent owners with a cost of $50.00 per engine and transaction must be completed within 30 business days. The Certified Pre-Owned Plan is not transferable.
Guaranteed Satisfaction: If you are not completely satisfied for any reason during the first 30 days you may cancel your contract.
The Product Protection contract is between you and Mercury Marine, not between you and the dealer.

All claims are paid through the dealership. No need for you to pay for the repair and wait for reimbursement.
Mercury uses only Genuine Mercury replacement parts. No "will fit" substitutes.
The amount of coverage is not limited to the current ABOS Blue Book value, but instead it is the suggested list price for your Mercury product at the time of original sale.
Duplicate/repeat failures are covered.
Exhaust system failures are covered if caused by a defective part.
Overheat failures are covered if caused by a defective part.
